Established in 1987, Whittlesey Catering Hire has over 29 years experience in providing catering equipment for hire to professional caterers, hoteliers, conference organisers and private individuals throughout East Anglia.

Whether you are organising a large corporate event or hosting a dinner party at home, we will use our knowledge and experience to help make it unforgettable!

 

Before every hire:

 

  • All crockery, cutlery and glassware is washed and sterilised using our energy efficient dishwashers.
  • All items are packaged and boxed for cleanliness and immediate use.
  • All linen is professionally laundered.
  • All our electrical and gas equipment is safety checked and tested and maintained to the highest of standards.
  • All orders go through our strict quality control picking process to ensure we get it right first time every time.

  • Experienced, friendly and helpful staff in our new showroom based in Peterborough.
  • Full itemised quotes and orders
  • No minimum hire charge
  • Washing up service
  • Full delivery and collection service available

 

The process:

 

  • Visit our showroom or our website to choose the style and ask us for advice or phone for a quotation.
  • We will give you a written quotation listing all the items for your event.
  • If you then wish to go ahead, you will need to pay the deposit and the remainder will be invoiced for payment 1 month before your event.
  • Your order will be ready for collection on the agreed day
  • After your event, return the items back to our office in the supplied boxes
  • If delivery and collection has been paid for, on the agreed date, we will deliver the items and then will come back and collect the items after your event.

 

Our hire charge is for 48 hours or from Friday to Monday if your event is over a weekend. We do offer longer term hire if required.

 

A losses and damages deposit is taken upon booking to secure your order and is fully refundable after the event as long as all items are returned undamaged.
